(February 15, 2018 at 5:42 pm)Joods Wrote: I asked my 13 year old son and my 15 year old daughter, who BOTH like playing CoD Black Ops, if they would ever feel the need to go out and shoot up a bunch of people simply because they play a "violent" video game and they both looked at me like I was nuts. Both emphatically said NO.
This is more of an opinion than anything, but I often feel that this type of surveys go about things the wrong way. That it is not as much, that a certain type of game or music or what not directly causes this type of thing. But I can certainly see where in the right type of person who are already having issues, that these type of things could fan the flames for the wrong types of thoughts and/or feelings. As I have said before, I think that to point to any one thing, that it is more of a social issue than anything else. But there are a lot of things to consider, and I don't that there is one specific thing, or that any two cases are a like.
Anyways, that's my two cents.
