Let victims of mass shootings sue gun manufacturers as well as whatever business or individual sold the weapon to the perpatrator(s). If your gun kills more than 3 people in an event, you should be held liable for damages. Let them pay the hospital bills of the injured, let them pay the funeral expenses of the dead, and let them pay for the emotional distress their product has caused.
That's a BS idea and if I was on a jury hearing such a case I would laugh it out of court. If someone uses a knife to kill three people will you sue the store that sold it and the manufacturer who made it? Besides, most States have a victim's assistance fund and people can get money from it.
