My temporary solution to help limit Gun Violence, without banning or restricting guns in any way (so as to please the people who think guns should be easier to get than Sudafed)

Let victims of mass shootings sue gun manufacturers as well as whatever business or individual sold the weapon to the perpatrator(s).  If your gun kills more than 3 people in an event, you should be held liable for damages.  Let them pay the hospital bills of the injured, let them pay the funeral expenses of the dead, and let them pay for the emotional distress their product has caused.

GOP basically passed laws back in the 90s to make that virtually impossible. No other product gets that immunity.

Not sue the gun companies but the shop/shops that sold them the guns on the basis that the background checks did not work.
