And the thing is.... we don't need them because the public don't have them much either!

Actually TBH, I could be wrong. Someone mentioned to me that Switzerland has lots of guns but almost no shootings.... which was a good point. So maybe it's America's love of guns that's the problem? The fact it's a big part of the culture and stuff... in a way that it isn't really in any other countries. Is probably not a coincidence.

Switzerland has strict regulations on guns . And they treat gun ownership as civil defense rather then personnel defense . Plus Switzerland has mandatory military service .
