I’ve been working since I was 16. I’m always busy. I also participate in different community events and groups. I’m a mom, too. That requires getting off my ass all the time. Guess what? I’ve dealt with depression since I was a kid. I’m a strong and badass bitch despite this very real depression. Having a job has not cured me. I do not work to be cured, I work despite not being cured. People who spit out ignorant comments like that are like pebbles in a shoe while hiking up a mountain. Fuck off.
