I wish depression were so easy to cure. Why the hell would anyone think a job would cure depression? I would never have been depressed in my life if that were the case.

Where did I say that a job would cure depression? It certainly isn't going to hurt and one would at least be coping, and mingling and overcoming despite being depressed. Self pity and self isolation isn't going to cure depression either.

What you said was close enough. What do you know about depression? You been bummed out?
