He obviously didn't because honest people that analyze the Bible and try to live by it can't agree, just like they can't agree on myriad of other things.
If people have reading and comprehension fails of the Bible, it is really their problem. A person may be honest, but that doesn't mean they can't get things wrong.
The Bible isn't an ordinary book.
Needles to say that is very arrogant, but I guess it's not stunning since christian mentality is very arrogant from the get go: to think that some god would answer your prayers when he let 6 million of praying people die in the holocaust is epitome of arrogance; so no wonder that you think that majority of Christians (which are in billions) have reading disorder and that's why they are wrong doing "wrong" stuff like celebrating Sunday instead of Saturday like you do - you simply have no limits to your arrogance and fanaticism.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
