I hate to resort to name calling, but he is a con man. A proven con man. A lot of people that voted for him voted for him based on how he made them feel.
He said heds stop outsourcing but he outsourced his own jobs. (He's currently working on putting provisions from TPP into his renegotiation of NAFTA)
He had literally no experience in leadership and was such a shitty businessman that he had to go to foreign banks to get loans. American banks wouldn't do it any more, because they know they probably won't get it back.
It seems like the voters must have been ignoring these types of things. Or they just weren't brought up enough.
