He said heds stop outsourcing but he outsourced his own jobs. (He's currently working on putting provisions from TPP into his renegotiation of NAFTA)
He had literally no experience in leadership and was such a shitty businessman that he had to go to foreign banks to get loans. American banks wouldn't do it any more, because they know they probably won't get it back.
It seems like the voters must have been ignoring these types of things. Or they just weren't brought up enough.
Calling 45 a con man is not name calling, it is a factual observation. He has a long history of stiffing contractors, and admitted to not paying the full amount back to his "university" investors.
He also LIED to both Boeing and Carrier workers on top of that. Yes people voted for him because he played on their gullibility and fears.
But he is worse than a mundane con man, he uses political scapegoating and vilifies any dissent, even to the point of shitting on his own intel.
Yeah he made a deal that they would get a shit ton of subsidies and tax breaks and would keep the jobs here juuuust long enough. But I just meant that when it comes to calling the voters morons, I don't mean to do that. I can sort of half understand their motivations. I just don't get why they thought he would follow through with anything.
