"Get Out" won best original screenplay?

I don't see the similarity with Stepford Wives at all.

I mean, I saw that they made every single white person in that movie evil and racist against blacks, but was there a deeper underlying meaning I didn't catch.

...except they didn't.

The main doctor in the movie says that the only reason they use black people's bodies is that they are "in style". I doubt white racist people would want to "become" black in the first place, which is effectively what they are doing.

I liked "Get Out", and I don't understand the whole "Stepford Wives" comparison. In that movie, the wives were replaced by robots (or possibly brainwashed to make them submissive). In this movie (spoilers again):

People are kidnapped, their conscious mind is "pushed" into their brain stem, and their brain is replaced with the brain of another person, usually someone older who wants to have a younger body.
