Pretty much. That and space. Also I suspect PETA are “against” neutering as well. So it would be more hypocrisy. Most shelters kill animals, and the “no-kill” shelters have caveats and kill animals too. Unfortunately killing animals in shelters is a necessity. Some are too ill, some are too aggressive and can’t be retrained, some just have no hope of being adopted.
