Our government just isn't the kind of government that will ever do anything worthwhile in this area, in it's current state. That's as true today as it's been since sandy hook. They don't wanna, they aint gonna, and there's nothing you or I or anyone else can do about it.
Maybe a few more experiments are in order before we jump to conclusions.
