You haven't addressed either of my questions. Since you haven't addressed them I assume you just see this as another opportunity to 'sprout off' in the hopes of bringing more lost lambs to god. Yours is a masturbatory pursuit that does't really involve me in any way. I'd prefer not to be dragged into it.
You assume too much. The only thing I'm rejecting is a role for anything religious in my celebration of Easter. For most of us, Easter in the US just means extra chocolate and special meals with friends and family. For the religiously inclined there is more. I don't partake in any of that.
No need to get your feelings hurt. But not everyone subscribes to your beliefs. If you feel rejected you'll have to deal with that. Carry on as you are entitled to do in observing the holiday the way you like, I'll be doing the same.
No need to guess about that, when I refer to Jesus I definitely have in mind the belief that other people claim to have. I'm aware that you all believe many different things about your messiah. But I don't really care which you happen to hold or why you call your version the son of god.

What does sin have to do with expressing disinterest in Jesus for celebrating Easter?
What leads you to think being partial to a form of sin would have any place in an atheists thinking?
Jesus said that the reason people reject him is because they are afraid of being exposed, and having their pet sins removed.
