I'd have to be the worst possible example for you to bring up if you wanted to stick to your guns on this. I express comfortable certainty. Further, I'm not just an atheist, but a gnostic atheist and an antitheist on top of that, lol.
This..in case you've plugged you ears and covered your eyes for the entire time you've been on these boards..isn;t even remotely the majority position here. There's a difference between my position on the god question and most of these folks. It makes little sense to use the same terms for people with such a different position than my own.

An agnostic atheist is a person who..entirely unlike me, says.."maybe, but I don't believe in them." It's your own inability to see past your own beliefs that leads you to think that all of these people share my position. They might express comfortable certainty about your god..and why wouldn't they, it's rank bullshit...but they have a more expansive view of gods than you do..and your god being rank bullshit isn't enough for them to discount the set with certainty. Your god is tiny, and false. They allow for a larger god, even if they don;t believe in it.
