The next step, is to find the real answer.

Your position is much more ignorant. You are the one claiming to know, that a god exists. You are the one that has stopped looking for answers.

When have you ever presented demonstrable and falsifiable evidence, and reasoned argument to support your claims?

The point of looking to find an answer is to find one. You have a good day sir.

No, the point of looking for an answer is to find one that is best supported by the evidence and reasoned argument.

Until then, the most intellectually honest answer is, "we don't know yet".

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
