There's really not much that can be said if you insist that the only thing the us could do by intervening in the case of chemicals weapons..is somehow make it worse.
Like I said..that's the terminus of a long running campaign to discredit any foreign assistance whatsoever...which is super helpful when you want to annex a number of small countries and install client regimes in others.
"Hey, rest of the world, keep your nose out of this unless you want a war..and so what if we gas a few folks here and there...you could only make it worse. Our troops did what? This whole thing is fake news and false flag operations and hey...prove you aren't keeping that spy we tried to kill hostage...we're concerned for our people!"
