Another reason why Christians go to church

I guess the main reason Christians go to church is to worship God and thus ensure their passage to heaven. But it recently occurred to me that another reason may be to show other church-goers that they're good/moral people.

Do any Christians disagree?

Not that exactly, but quite often my mom and I would go to church when I was younger partially because we would be judged by other people in the community if we didn't.
