There's no evidence Rodman was the cause, but his optimism on the matter appears completely vindicated.
Rodman's visits to NK were happening way prior to 4 months ago. Fairly sure it was years ago he visited Kim. And in the times he was visiting, NK was just as vocal about their nuclear programme and just as hysterical with their threats of war.
I'd say that in fact, it's Trump sending head of CIA Mike Pompeo for a secret meeting that has had more of an effect than anything Dennis Rodman has done. SK president himself credits Trump for this.
Interesting to me that all of a sudden the denuclearisation of what is effectively a rogue state is not a big deal, seemingly because Trump was involved (in some way at least).
I wonder if Obama got the Nobel peace prize while bombing civilians in Iraq, will Trump get it for brokering peace in Korea? That's a joke btw.
