I am going to be vacationing at OBX in late July. I realize it's a one-way-in-one-way-out road to get there, but they do have a ferry that goes from the main land to Cape Hatteras, so if you wanted to arrange a meet up, I'm game.
Not sure what your plans are or how far out you want to go from your plan, but if you want to spare the time you are really not but an hour from Myrtle Beach south of me or an hour North from Wilmington NC.
I would love to meet you, but seriously, you'd have to come to me. I'd be willing to spring for a night or two a hotel for you.
