Yes and as already outlined the increased pressure from China comes directly from the change in tactics by the Trump administration in conjunction with other world leaders for China to actually do something, and the fact that China replaced NK coal imports with American imports in a deal worth the teeny tiny amount of 250 billion dollars.
Its not really like you can say China was doing these things prior. It was only until Trump came along and disrupted the status quo that they actually pulled their finger out their ass and did anything substantial. Whether you think Trump had a big effect or small effect, it seems to take some gold medal mental gymnastics to try and pretend he wasn’t involved.
Queue the inevitable appeal to ridicule that’ll follow this post.
