And he would be right. The definition you provide is true but by no means adequately complete. It is a little akin to defining thinking as changes in action potential over the surface of nerve cells.
Always true, but hardly sufficient. You described one part of the mechanism, by no means any other mechanism that must interacts with it to produce the process.
I suspect the omission is not unintentional as it serves to take emphasis away from the fact that other mechanisms interacting with the one you describe combines to make it clear Christianity has staked its claim to truth on manifestly false foundations.
