Just as a side note; MK : peer reviews and scientific authority were one upon a time under Muslim authority.
Ever read about the gigantic cannons that Muslims used to bring down the impenetrable walls of Constantinople?

Great Turkish Bombard was its name. Aside from warfare and the military, Muslims used science heavily to from calculating the movement of the sun for prayer time up until the production of Alcohol for perfumes.
Scientific authority and scientific peer reviews are a double edged weapon -in my opinion- that both Muslims and atheists carry. Science leads to God; IDK what I would've done without the theories of cosmology.
If your faith happens to not make sense; maybe it truly doesn't make sense.
Truth makes sense. But eliminating science from the equation is never the key. Rather it's the beginning of the decline.
