No. I, personally, simply don't believe in a god. I hold no hatred of any god, but I do hate people who justify atrocities via their religion. If he were to appear, I would have to believe. But I wouldn't worship him, I just don't see a need to feed any ego on his part if he was ruler of the universe.

You get people like that in any group. That is inevitable.
You have a bit of a skewed view on atheists, but at least you were nice, thanks for that. There will be atheists, and simply because there are, doesn't mean they hate your religion, or that they dislike you. Some will, of course, and that is just silly, but the majority are actually nice people.
