Exactly why shouldn't Christians tell others they are praying for them, oh yeah you do not know or understand the love of God and His people for their fellow man, to bad you are missing out on something so great. And it is obvious you and what's her name have no compassion for other, living or dying.
I don't say they shouldn't. I'm just pointing out that the chief good it does the other person is to show you really do care about them. Obviously that is said from the point of view I share with Jormy that prayer is an entirely intra-personal affair without interpersonal or transpersonal transfer. I don't say there is anything wrong with it as such. It is actually quite sweet. But I sure wouldn't want to be distracted by that sort of thing on my own death bed.
