That's not what Christ said...
Christ said specifically I am the way the truth and the light and No man shall come to the Father but by Him. Meaning no church no denomination no creed or plan of salvation will save you. Only a direct relationship with Jesus Himself.
That is what I peddle.. no rituals no chants no special knoweledge no secrete rights or rituals kept secrete from all but members. I share the fact that a "christian" is whom ever Jesus Himself calls a christian. Church has nothing to do with it. To borrow a line from oprea You could be a christian, our muslim buddies could be christian and yes even I could be a Christian if Christ so identifies us as such on that final day.
That is why I say none of us has the right to wear that name truly as only jesus can give it to us
