When you claim that that there would be good and bad, outside of us, regardless of our existence.... that is you claiming that there indeed is intrinsic good and and evil. He's got it backwards.

Good and evil is not just WHAT God says so, according to Christianity, it's what he WOULD say so, if humans existed, even in a universe where humans didn't exist. Good and evil is embedded into his very nature.
