Some places in the US, a block is a mile. Hopefully it isn't like that in NZ. I could easily walk to my polling place, as it is about half a mile away. But I incorporate my vote into a trip that involves other errands for efficiency considerations. I.e., I usually hit up the liquor store on the way there. For Lotto tickets, right?
