Alien Question for Atheists

What would be even more amazing than the aliens have a christian like religion would be if they looked exactly like humans. It's a standard trope in sci-fi which we all take for granted but the chances of that happening are negligible.

I'd be blown away by that too, but there could be evolutionary reasons for that to happen. Fingers are neccesary for tool use, upright walking for distance travel, etc. So I'd be shocked for sure, but I'd say a Christian like religion I'd put it in the realm of so shocking as to be miraculous.

I don't understand the attitude of some atheists who are like "nothing can convince me"

Actually my burden of proof is quite low. I'd say about the same as the existence of any other sort of creature, maybe even less.

But the 'evidence' offered by theists falls way way short of that.

I've always said I have a low burden of proof for God. I just need God to say something to me, or give a weather report that more than one person hears.

But such a cosmic coincidence might be good enough. Again, its just mind bogglingly unlikely.

It will be fair to cloudy with sunshine, rain or snow.

If god gave a cosmic weather report, announced from the heavens, or beamed into the whole worlds brain. That would be pretty convincing.
