Actually Michael Moore had one of the best explanations for that. In NY, Ct, and NJ where people had grown up on his repulsive Page 6 antics in the Post and who knew him for being a mobbed-up scumbag and a failed businessman who couldn't make a profit running a casino, Hillary crushed his sorry ass in all 3 states, in spite of the fact that he was a lifelong NYer and Hillary only moved there after Bill left office. But Middle 'Murrica did not know him. To them he was a reality TV star who told them what they wanted to hear.
