Interesting how ones views seem to change when talking about specific types of animals.
Funnily enough but I don't see the SPCA championing for livestock in any of their commercials. Just poor little dogs and cats. I guess livestock just doesn't have the cuteness factor that dogs and cats have.
There's just slight differences I've noticed. The dogs I saw literally looked like someone had stuffed clothing in a rusty cage like you would cram clothing into a suitcase. You just notice they're actually alive dogs when you see random dog faces sticking out amongst the fur.
The killing methods I've seen are being boiled alive, set on fire, beaten to death, skinned alive.
I suppose overall though there's not much difference besides the presentation of it all. They have a festival for it but we keep it quiet and do it in factories behind closed doors.
They are more honest. We are too squeamish and yet hypocritical.
