Quote:Sura 4, The Quran:
Sahih International
(32) And do not wish for that by which Allah has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of his bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing.
Furthermore:
Quote:Sura 49, The Quran:
Sahih International
(13) O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.
Then cutting any doubt that men and women as God had said in the Quran are actually created from the same organism:
Quote:Sura 7,The Quran:
Sahih International
(189) It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful."
Your OP should exclude the Quran from the criticism. The verses tell me that men and women are created from the same organism (sura 7 verse 189).
Then something happened to make women have to cover their bodies (24:31). According to the Quran two woman's testimony in court dis equal to that of one man's testimony (2:282 - the explination here being that women are so fuddle headed it takes two so one can remind the other if she forgets).
The Quran shares this withthe Bible that it is possible to cherry pick, to innumerate favorable circumstance in support of whatever one needs to cover indefensible teachings and practices.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
