Request denied.
It tells that the origin is created by God, one soul that divided then into two. I just quoted the verse; but I'll quote it again:
Quote:Sura 7,The Quran:
Sahih International
(189) It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful."

Kind of hard to exclude muslims from this, given that they're infamous for covering their women up from head to toe. If they didn't get that from the quran, they must have gotten it from somewhere while trying to be good worshipers of allah.
It's more accurate to say that the Middle Eastern people had bent Islam to fit their habits and culture. I would say they got overwhelmed by the widespread of Islam so they entered the veil in the revelation. I wouldn't say Allah is the reason for that bent.

Then something happened to make women have to cover their bodies (24:31). According to the Quran two woman's testimony in court dis equal to that of one man's testimony (2:282 - the explination here being that women are so fuddle headed it takes two so one can remind the other if she forgets).
The Quran shares this withthe Bible that it is possible to cherry pick, to innumerate favorable circumstance in support of whatever one needs to cover indefensible teachings and practices.
This happened:
Quote:https://quran.com/24/23?translations=
Sura 24, The Quran:
Sahih International
(23) Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment
So Hijab was a protective measure as it is shown in this verse:
Quote:https://quran.com/33/59?translations=
Sura 33, The Quran:
Sahih International
(59) O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
I don't see sexism in the Hijab. I see protection against perverts.
And for the female double testimony, that is in contracts and economical stuff only, women weren't educated in the past, so it's very normal for a female human to be weak in mathematics in the past. So it's wise actually to require two women to do the job in the past.
