And with the economy heating up some, some social spending is going to come down on it's own anyhow, and the economy will generate more tax revenues for all spending (yeah with more deficits). And overlooked is all the tariff money that is going to pour into the treasury.
I don't think Trumply will ever have a surplus like Bill Clinton did, but I'll say he's going to get closer than any other president since Ford if one goes by % and not actual (inflated) dollar amounts.
Recall, during WWII the US borrowed substantially less than 1 trillion dollars. We've pissed away more than that just on corruption, waste, fraud and abuse in Iraq.
