You're nice to do that, but if you've looked at the cost of texts for university classes, you may be shocked at what little distance that money went. Some of (one of my son's) textbooks for engineering classes were north of $800, and he was taking up to 3 of that kind of class per semester. Students can rent a .pdf of a text for the duration of a semester for about $100, which is much better. His Differential Equations class (in '02) used the same text I used in '79. Had I known, I would have sent it to him. I think I paid $40 for it, tops. The problem sets had different numbers, but he could have gotten that list from one of his class mates. The math hasn't changed all that much, lol.
