But, Brian, that is your problem. No one is suggesting that a mom and pop shop is buying politicians with campaign bribes. You are exactly right. It is the power of corporate fucks which is destroying the republic not the small shopkeepers who are being run out of business by the big corporate chains. When someone makes that argument to you they must be shot down instantly.

I agree, the Koch class has too much power, but both they and the mom and pop shops are capitalists. China's workers are also getting screwed by corporatism. No ability for workers to unite. So my point isn't the private sector or capitalism, but abuse of power.
So the real issue isn't banning business, because mom and pop shops are also businesses, but to get back to anti monopoly concepts.
