There is no common sense about believing something without evidence just because you want to believe it.
Its self delusion at best and I would define it as mental illness.
The only thing inside people is what other people have put there.
In this case parents and society.
Luckily some of us can rise above it and see we don't need to conform to ignorance. We have minds of our own and we realise God is man made. Any omnipotent , omniscient and omnipresent entity wouldnt really need worshipping. To believe so is just sick.
If there was a God (let alone a kingdom!! ......That's so funny) Why would he invest time and effort in a small planet full of wankers??
Because that's what we have here.
Most of the people on this planet are riding on the backs of a few hundred thousand descendants of apes who have been productive enough to make life quite acceptable for many of us.
We don't need heaven we have it on earth.
It would last and grow too if it wasn't for people killing each other over religious belief.
