Because:
1. The dems have shown that they aren't going to raise taxes significantly, and
2. Taxes aren't the only issue.
I'm more aligned with Republicans on social issues, so dems would need to make a clear difference on economics for me to consider them.
As it is, we have a choice between borrow and spend dems, and borrow and spend reps.
