Neo in particular, and pro-lifers in general like to make the claim that a fetus is a potential human being just like a born child is and ignore the very real differences that exist between both a fetus and a newborn, as well as the respective rights of each, effectively claiming that a potential X is and should be treated the same as an actual X. So I was parodying that logic by showing the result when applied to life and death. It's called a reductio ad absurdum argument. If the logic one is employing leads to an absurd result, then the logic is flawed. Thus Neo and pro-lifers who argue in this way are not making a valid argument.
