Based on comments I hear from people who voted for the orange turd, they only care that he "shakes up the establishment because he's not a politician", with no obvious exit strategy. I saw it here, and I completely agree- "if you voted for a person because he's not a politician, then the next time you have a colonoscopy, hire a plumber".
Too right. I've never really grasped the whole I-want-him-in-politics-because-he's-not-a-politician thing. Politics is a skill like anything else. If I need electrical work done, I hire an electrician. If my car needs fixing, I hire a motor mechanic. It's baffling to me that people insist that hiring (read 'electing') someone with no political experience to fill a political job is a GOOD thing.
