We know the republican party has done their level best to keep Obama from doing anything for the past eight years, and when he uses executive orders as a means of attempting to do his job, they raise hell about it. Now there's this. I think if Hillary gets elected, which she likely will, we can expect four more years of near complete obstruction. The irony is, of course, that Hillary is about as republican as it gets, while still waving the democrat flag.

We're gonna get four more years of a democrat trying to appeal to, and make compromises, for, a party that wants nothing to do with them.

I honestly hope that the Democrats take over the Senate. I know it's kind of a long shot, but I'm hopeful that the Trump effect will affect down ballot races.

I think if the republicans keep acting like this, they'll be forced to give up power. You can't run a government like this. It's a million wonders why the democrats aren't pounding on this. Then again, establishment dems don't actually want to win. Even when their opponents are hoisting themselves by their own petards, democrats won't do anything.

The obstructionist charge is bullshit. There is zero compromise and both parties are to blame. Not finding a workable solution to then cry that the other side didn't give you everything you wanted is just as bad. They're all a bunch of self serving cunts.

Yeah, the obstruction charge is total bullshit. Not like the Republicans are refusing to give a hearing to a Supreme Court Nominee or anything... over the next 5 years if Hillary wins. OH WAIT THEY ARE. It's fucking bullshit to say both parties are to blame. The Republicans have made themselves impossible to work with. They toss in fucking stupid anti-abortion laws every chance they get, and do everything they can to undermine the goals of the President. And that's all they do. It's what happens when you vote people into government that hate the very idea of a federal government.
