Heh, one of my sons shared with me today that he had farted at work. We had a tri-tip for dinner last night that had a rub with a lot of pepper in it. Pepper sets me and my spawn off, big-time. He said that it lasted about 8 seconds.   Any moths in the vicinity would have folded their wings and hit the ground, never to arise. But it was daylight, so they were saved.

Thanks for sharing this.  I'm guilty of doing the same thing while I was at work: I was making rounds through the men's department, when I let one slip out of nowhere.  A gentleman (customer), who was nearby, heard me do it: he just chuckled and went about his business.

That said, regarding abstract algebra, I find the relationship between it and number theory to be interesting: tonight I did a proof exercise from my book and completed the proof by making use of Lagrange's theorem (abstract algebra) and a key fact about primes from elementary number theory.
