I think this is quite significant. It's like he's not actually bothering to deny anything now but just trying to convince people that regardless of the crime they can't get rid of him. It's almost an admission of guilt. Because if he was innocent he'd still be denying it.

And I see the usual supporters have gone all quiet.

The "nothing to see here crowd" have disappeared.

Even in other places online this appears true. There are a few rabids here and there but their numbers in comments sections have stopped off quite suddenly. They'll still support him naturally, because the truth is they actually don't care if he's a criminal as long as they have the fake perception that he is lining their pocket books....

I just read an article where interviewers spoke with Trump voters in some Midwestern town and most said they didn't care about that level of politics, and one guy said people were already benefiting from lower taxes. These are poor farmers and Walmart workers! Their taxes have not been reduced. Delusional, the lot of them.

If Trump handed them a dollar and told them it was 10 they would believe him instead of the evidence right in front of them.
