1. Psychologically speaking it's not healthy to pass judgment on what you or anyone else feels. Feelings are indicators or emotional realities, they aren't good or bad.
CASTLE- The subconscious and emotion create our feeling then followed by our conscious.
Judgment, we stand in awe of greatest judgmental people on earth “Christian” judging others on up to judgment day and after they are totally wrong again, they will continue more threats to world.
2. The money you're referring to is the tithe, I assume, but it's not as if God needed it for anything. The purpose of the tithe was for people to take a manageable portion of their income in order to support those who would otherwise be unable to survive. Even an atheist should appreciate the value of sharing a little bit of their wealth to help people that live on less than 1 dollar a day.
CASTLE -Yes Jesus did help the poor and was only got angry over the money money market, I guess the money market won out because the bible has 7 time more discussions than about heaven and hell combined. Nothing is wrong about having money except most of the money it per capita on earth is own by greedy Christians and they thinks it's the root of alll evil or was that Satan
3. - Difference between pretense and cause. The "Wars of Religion" were basically between countries who were just picking whoever was most advantageous to attack. Protestants attacked protestants, catholics and protestants attacked other catholics. It's not like there were really teams. Crusades were imbued with religious overtones but sparked by the same basic Greek-Persian land struggle that had been going on for thousands of years. Then of course their are people who really just get worked up into a frenzy about killing people for some stupid religious reason. This is really unfortunate, but people are completely irrational when it comes to the in-group vs. out-group dynamic. It does really matter what the different sides are Muslim vs. Christian, Socialist vs. Capitalist, coke vs. pepsi, people can legitimately hate and dehumanize the people on the other side. This really reflects the human condition and not the teachings of Jesus.
CASTLE- Coke vs. Pepsi – GOD CREATED it all perfect
4. The word "Fear" in Hebrew is incredibly nuanced and the meaning is not what people would think it is. It doesn't mean, "be afraid of" at all, but conveys the ancient concept of a sense of of awe and uncertainty in the face of something much greater than one's self.
Kind of like born again GW Bush Shock and Awe, no wonder Bush was elected twice. Now i understand, perfectly Fear means the same as respect, once you are feared you don't need to explain anything.
Castle my friend, I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're saying. You were mostly clear, except for point number 1. Not that your English is bad, but just for my own curiosity's sake, what is your first language?
1. Something about Christians judging others, I think? Not really sure.
2. Are you saying that money wins in the Bible because the Bible talks about it so much? Most mentions of wealth, particularly in the NT, criticize the wealthy for not helping the poor. The NT talks about money a lot, but for the purpose of getting people to help others rather than hoard resources. As for greedy Christians controlling all the money, that's more statistical than anything. The majority of people in the wealthiest nations on earth claim to be Christian so it inflates the numbers of how much money Christians control. It's unfortunate, however, that these Christians don't do more to help people with that money. Here's a good reason to tithe, if all people in America who claimed to be Christian actually donated 10% of their income, we could end world hunger, ensure universal education, provide clean drinking water for all, and have a huge pool of money to rebuild infrastructure in the third world.
3. Actually Coca-cola has a horrendous human rights record (literally executing people) whereas Pepsi does a lot of community service and charity programs.
4. Well explaining or not explaining isn't really the point, and that's a modernist notion anyway. God does a lot to explain, but the ancient concept of fear recognizes that we live in a world we do not fully understand or control.
