First of all, I don't celebrate Easter... And I don't see Christmas in a religious way...

He then said, "yes, but, Christmas is Christ's mass...",
So, I replied by saying that I don't throw down and worship Thor every Thursday, but I still acknowledge it is Thursday... It would be a massive inconvenience to have different days from everyone else.

You should have mentioned that many of the traditions of Christmas were ripped directly off of the Pagan holiday of Saturnalia, up to and including the giving of gifts under a big tree.

P.S., is they guy Catholic, because the term "mass" shouldn't have any meaning outside "amount of matter an object has" to anyone of any other religion. If he isn't, challenge him on this.
