Hadiths.... those collections of writings claiming to be things that the prophet said....
The prophet... a man claiming to have spoken with an angel...
The angel... a thing claiming to be in direct contact with god...
God, who can't be arsed to engage in direct contact with the whole of mankind, because... reasons, and then expect people to follow the word of a man who remembered another man saying something, as he was inspired by another "man" (angel) who was speaking on behalf of that god.
When I was a kid, I played enough of the broken telephone game to know how broken that system is, even if it is true.
As an adult, I understand how man-made, imagination-riddled, or just pure BS the whole thing is.
Tell muslims that they should look at their beliefs a bit more critically than "not at all".
