RE: Pet Photos thread where too much is never enough.

So I stopped and hiked 2.4 miles out on the Pacific Crest Trail from a trail head south of Mt Shasta city with my boy Smokey. (Heidi Rose has a urinary infection and so is home alone with our house sitters.) Pretty trail along a ridge with steep drop offs on both sides and great views.

Apart from a haze from all the fires in the area, Mt Shasta was wide open the whole way.

Walking with Smokey is a lot like walking all by yourself. Except when I stop to take a picture, he is always right behind me. I swear, I used to wonder where the heck he was because when I'd turn to look he'd stay in line with my back still. Anyhow, today I decided to point the camera back that way and video tape what he was up to. This what I got:
