Cultist thinks his cult is The Truth™. Pursuant to this, Cultist needs to rationalize the fact that others think he's a loon cultist. Hiddenness is a double bonus. Not only does it provide a loon cultist with something to say, it also sets up the loon cultist as one of the blessed few granted sight into this hidden world.
