Sure, innocent til proven guilty, but that also includes republicans and other Trumpanzees who declare him innocent or simply don't care since they don't want an FBI investigation. And this meager FBI investigation that managed to be placed is heavy obstructed by Trump.

Also there are other problems with Kavanaugh - like what almost 1000 law professors who have signed a letter urging the Senate to reject Kavanaugh's nomination say:

Kavanaugh displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court, and certainly for elevation to the highest court of this land.

Judge Kavanaugh exhibited a lack of commitment to judicious inquiry. Instead of being open to the necessary search for accuracy, Judge Kavanaugh was repeatedly aggressive with questioners.

Instead of trying to sort out with reason and care the allegations that were raised, Judge Kavanaugh responded in an intemperate, inflammatory and partial manner, as he interrupted and, at times, was discourteous to senators.
