Trump claims he kept Ford plant here.

Trump claims he kept Ford plant here.
That asshole claimed this shit once again. But Ford never had plans to cut jobs. They are merely relegating certain models to Mexico. Trump had absolutely NO hand in their decision. I will say the title of the story is a bit baiting though.

Trump is a fucking moron and a lying sack of shit. He'd claim he landed on the moon too. He had absolutely NOTHING to do with what Ford decided.

Funny enough...

http://www.investopedia.com/news/apple-w...plan-aapl/

Quote:Apple Inc. (AAPL) appears to be preparing for all scenarios when it comes to a Trump presidency.

According to sources speaking to Japan's Nikkei Asian Review, the tech giant has asked its Chinese assemblers Foxconn and Pegatron to study the possibility of moving their units to the U.S. The two firms produce more than 200 million iPhones for Apple each year. “Foxconn complied, while Pegatron declined to formulate such a plan due to cost concerns," said the source. The report also mentions that Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou isn't enthusiastic about the potential move due to the rise in production costs it would mean.

And I repeat, Trump is no different than the other politicians.

How sad that people fell for his shit. Dude has the ego of a twelve year old boy.
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.

It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.

Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

A more correct way of describing this is that Ford decided against further expansion in the US and successfully conned the Orange Turd with it.

When gas prices go back up and SUV sales tank - as will happen - the plants in the US will be scaled back and the ones in Mexico will be working double shifts.

Just wait a few years, Trump and his supporters will be using this to show how he's "saved American jobs" and nobody will remember that it happened before he ever took office.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

These "don't tax the rich" dipshits think that mantra is unique to "Merka', but that is the same fucking line China's PM uses too.

Monopolies of markets have no borders. Wealth can be monopolized by a family, like the Saudi Royal Family, or a despot like Gadaffi who was a billionaire who owned stock in GE. And the Un Family has global investments too, otherwise they would not be able to pay an army to protect them.

No, we are not a one party state, but we do have in the western allies are growing global monopolies.

Here is what is going to happen. There will be a very shallow band aid that will be crumbs that make enough people back off. It will feel good for a while, but, as we have seen since Reagan, since which we have had a crash in the 80s, the dot com bubble in the 90s, then a very severe recession caused by Bush.

But the bullshit about the parties being the same is just that. The only thing dems can be blamed for is too much compromise. The 36 years of GOP gerrymandering and our voter apathy in local and state elections in midterms has not helped.

I did literally see an uptick in my town, but that is simply a false sense of comfort. If Trump manages to get 8 years watch out. Do not be surprised one bit if Trump ends up like Bush on steroids.

I don't know how many times I can repeat this. THE TWO PARTIES ARE NOT THE SAME.

Learn to separate politics from the politicians from the individual voter.

REAGAN started the age of deregulation, not democrats. In that 36 years of GOP gerrymandering they have created a monopoly of power NOT THE PRESIDENT OFFICE, but in congress. If you look at that 36 year period the majority of power ON AVERAGE has been GOP controlled. Add to that the GOP lopsided majority of State governments and Governors in that same period, that forces our politicians to compromise, which is what we have done far too much of. And our voter apathy in local and state elections AS VOTERS also has not helped.

Hillary is only 1 person, not the entire history of our government in that 36 year period.

AS VOTERS only, we are on the right side of history. We understand that better pay for workers and lower cost of living creates that independence that makes individuals less dependent on gov. We understand that health care isn't a luxury and everyone will get sick sooner or later. We don't think higher education should turn someone into an indentured slave.

So, the only difference is how do we fix that? If we cut taxes for the uber rich, some seem to forget when we do that the rest of us have to compensate for that. So it would seem more cost effective that if business owners don't want gov on their back, then the best charity would be directly giving better pay to all workers. But if all the GOP is going to do is gut investment to pay for rich individuals and corporations who end up doing nothing but banking that money, someone has to step in to protect the other classes.

Our problem as progressives is that we suck at our local and state turnout and we also suck at our messaging, but outside that at best our politicians can only be accused of being too compromising.

If Reagan's failed trickle up economics really worked nobody would bitch. It really isn't that different with any other life or ecosystem. When other life gets stressed out it lashes out. When other life becomes invasive it harms all the other species in that ecosystem. But for the right or the third party morons who think "yea you can smoke pot and get gay married" is all there is to economics, you are morons.

Revolutions worldwide in our species history always start for the same reason, the population that attempts it is simply stressed out. What is not a given in any revolution, is if the outcome will end up in a more free society or a more closed society. The same economic angst that lead to the American Revolution is the same economic angst that lead to the Russian revolution.

I am quite sure that if the North Korean population got to a critical mass because of all their abuse and mass starvation, if they could they most certainly would gun for Un. Just because we in the west don't have that same political system does not mean we should make our western economics a race to cheap labor.

The economic history is in for the past 36 years. ONLY 1 party has had the majority of power and only 1 party has the majority of states and governors.  And while Trump wants to say Bernie is a populist too, only one between the two really cares.

It is an absolute myth that liberals hate the private sector, we only hate the abuse and the monopolies. If corporations want individuals to be more independent, then they need to stop paying poverty wages and start paying more taxes.
