I witnessed an exchange between two old high school acquaintances. One is an avid trump supporter and the other is not.

- Yes! Just what this country needed to begin to get back on track!
- THAT is a riot! Where are we back on track? I've never witnessed a more divided country nor have I ever seen a more unprofessional individual, never mind President. Disturbing to think there are people who support his actions.
- apparently you disagree! Speaking for myself...I appreciate that he is doing EXACTLY what we elected him to do! Is he prefect? Absolutely not....but he will continue to make good on what we elected him to do....Making America Great Again! Division is deep...absolutely...possibly caused by The resist movement....even when it’s the most absurd arguement....the left will go with it...just to disagree with our president! - The division was started by the prior administration , and I agree with you it’s a terrible thing for our country.
There have been lots of positive things done, with more to come.... look at the economic indicators- unemployment rate, GDP, stock market,etc. These things are fundamental to our country’s success.
This is why I have stopped arguing with them. There is no ground to gain. They don't care that he is boarish or disgusting. That he is destroying the reputation of our country. They just care that he has an R next to his name and is stockpiling our government and justice system with more R's.
